I’ve been using your recovery balm for the last few years and love it!! Sore muscles aren’t so sore the next day after using.
I recently bought the jar on Amazon and the formulation seems different. The other jars have been smooth and need to use the scraper. This last jar is almost soupy and has bits of unmelted coconut oil. Is it supposed to be this way?
Hi Melissa! Thank you for reaching out. Since our balms are made with natural ingredients, changes in temperature during shipping or storage can sometimes affect the texture and consistency. This doesn’t affect the quality or effectiveness of the balm. If you’d like, you can gently warm the jar in a warm water bath and then allow it to cool slowly, which can help smooth out the texture. ❤️

How is it different? : Love the size for travel and not having to use my fingers to get product out. All though it’s a great travel size I’m the way I use it it’s done in 2 days!
The mini sizes came in handy on a recent trip I took. It fits in my purse even pocket and was able to use it right before my plane ✈️ took off and gave me the extra relief and rest I needed. Snoozed on the flight and didn’t wake up with a stiff neck!

I started with the magnesium balm and love it. I’ve been experiencing muscle strains from stress, working out, running after a toddler, and life so i though id give the large jar of recovery balm a try. Its subtle, soothing, and a self care routine for me. It has helped me relax and not wake up so often at night. I’ gifted this to my MIL for her arthritis pain.

Your Story: I put it on in the morning and I am pretty much pain free for the entire day. After about 12 hours it must wear off because I start to feel sore again. That's how I know how amazing it is. All day I used to complain about my back hurting, not anymore. Now it only hurts when I forget to use the Dr. Dougs.
How is it different? : It allows me to function like a normal person.
I decided to write a review because I was just showing my coworker the product and explaining how well it worked so I figured why not tell everyone else also. I have had back pain for over a year and a friend bought me this and I swear it is a miracle. It is expensive but totally worth it. I have used lidocaine patches which worked but not to this extent. I can totally vouch that it works because the days I forget to put it on wow what a difference. When I use this consistently I keep thinking the pain is gone forever but it isn't. It is just that this cream is phenomenal. I alos rub it on my knees because they have been acting up lately. Getting old sucks and I am only 55. As a side note my dreams are vivid and at the beginning crazy. I thought it was a coincidence but apparently it is an actual thing. Since I love dreams I find this a plus. I will never again in my life NOT have this on hand. Best gift I have ever received.

The twist-up in the diaper bag is a great call — especially after swim class. Chlorine is rough on skin, and it's nice to have something clean and simple to reach for right after.

Immediate difference. We are at the age where you turn wrong and something can hurt. My husband’s knee was bothering him and tried what we had in the cabinet, with no real relief. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this great product. Loved it completely as every time I put it on I experienced truly all day moisture. I am from Canada and with shipping and exchange unfortunately the product became more than I could justify so I was on the hunt for another option. More than 2 years later of trying other products I am back! I just can’t find a better product. They all claim to have long lasting moisture but only this one does it for me so I will try to take advantage of discounts when they come around to make it more affordable.
